Sometimes you don’t need a generic training class – you need dedicated time focused entirely on you, your dog and the behaviours you want to improve.
Our One-to-One Training Sessions give you a full hour of individual training with P2F K9 Training Academy, using the NeMo® Training System to help you better understand your dog, improve your handling and build clearer communication between you.
Whether you’re struggling with lead walking, over-excitement, reactivity, lack of focus or simply want greater control and a better relationship with your dog, your session is shaped around what you and your dog actually need.
Before Your Session
Before attending, we’ll ask you to send us a short video of your dog.
This gives us an opportunity to see how your dog naturally behaves before we meet and helps us identify some of the areas we may need to focus on during your session.
When you arrive, we’ll begin with a 5–10 minute conversation about your dog, their behaviour, your current routine and any particular problems or goals you’d like us to work on.
This isn’t about applying the same training programme to every dog. We want to understand what is happening with your dog before we begin.
Then We Start Training
From there, we’ll head out with you and your dog to an appropriate open training area and begin putting the work into practice.
A typical session can include approximately 20–30 minutes of structured cone work, allowing us to work directly on your handling, your dog’s state of mind and the communication travelling through the lead.
Depending on your dog, we may work on areas including:
- Loose lead walking
- Pulling on the lead
- Engagement and focus
- Handler communication
- Building calmness and balance
- Managing excessive drive or excitement
- Reactivity towards dogs or people
- General obedience and control
- Improving your timing and handling
- Addressing specific behaviours you are struggling with
Every dog is different, so the exact structure of the session will be adapted to what we see in front of us.
More Than Teaching Commands
Our approach isn’t about endlessly distracting your dog with food or making them behave only when there’s a reward available.
Through the NeMo® Training System, we focus on helping you understand how to communicate more clearly with your dog and how your own handling can influence their behaviour.
The aim is to create a dog that can be calmer, more balanced, easier to handle and more responsive to you, while giving you the knowledge and confidence to continue the training after you leave us.
We don’t just work with your dog for an hour and hand them back.
We teach you how to train them.

Price: £75 per one-hour session
Your dog’s training doesn’t finish when the hour is over. The goal is for you to leave understanding what to do, why you’re doing it and how to continue making progress yourself.
