Why choose P2F?
What happens on a dog walk?
Your dog’s walk is tailored around their individual needs, energy levels and temperament.
Walks focus on providing appropriate exercise, mental stimulation and plenty of opportunity to sniff and explore, rather than simply covering as much distance as possible.
Where appropriate, we can also reinforce good walking habits and everyday behaviours while we’re out.
How long do walks last?
Dog walks are available in 30-minute and 60-minute options, allowing you to choose the most appropriate amount of exercise and stimulation for your dog.
Walk duration refers to the time dedicated to your dog’s walk, with collection and return managed around the booked service.
What areas do you cover?
We currently cover Lincolnshire, Gainsborough, Retford, Newark and Mansfield, with availability depending on the service you require.
For some training services, we may also be able to travel further afield. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, simply get in touch and we’ll confirm what’s available.
What happens in bad weather?
We walk throughout the year where conditions are safe, but your dog’s welfare will always come first.
Rain and ordinary British weather won’t normally stop a walk, but extreme heat, thunderstorms, flooding, ice or other potentially unsafe conditions may mean the walk needs to be shortened, adapted or rearranged.
In particularly hot weather, we may substitute some walking time with a shorter toilet break, shaded activity or enrichment at home where appropriate.
Where a walk cannot safely go ahead, we may replace it with an alternative activity, such as a home visit or drop-in session, for the same amount of time you originally booked.
Please contact P2F K9 Training Academy if you would like further information about our extreme temperature and severe weather policy.
Can I book regular dog walks?
Yes. Regular recurring dog walks can be arranged for clients who need ongoing support throughout the week.
Whether you need walks every weekday, several times a week or on particular days, we’ll work around our available walking schedule to find an arrangement that works for you and your dog.
